Seasons

Last week we started to learn about the four seasons of the year; spring, summer, autumn and winter. The children learned that each season has three months and we learned the names of the months that are in each season. We looked at the changes that occur during each season and played some games to guess which season Ms. Nugent was thinking of. Why not play this game at home too with your son/ daughter by giving simple clues!!! 🙂

Which season comes after winter?

We get our summer holidays during this season.

We need very warm clothes during this season.

The trees start to bud and grow new leaves.

The leaves change colour and fall off the trees during this season.

We really enjoyed singing this fun song.

The children created some beautiful paintings depicting the changes that occur throughout the seasons.
